Did you know that 9 x 12 Oriental rug can hold up to 87 pounds of soil without looking dirty? This was demonstrated by a study done by the Eureka Vacuum Cleaner Company. Vacuuming alone doesn't clean your area rugs and Oriental Rugs. Allergens, dust mites, sand, dirt and hair still will get trapped in your area rug and Oriental rug fibers. Most manufacturers recommend that you deep clean your area rugs and Oriental rugs once every year or once every two years. How often you clean your area rug or Oriental rug depends mainly on your area rug or Oriental rug manufacturer recommendations.
Green Magic Carpet Cleaning Experts offers area rug cleaning services and Oriental rug cleaning services to residential and commercial clients. We'll take care of such issues as:

Whether your rug is hand-made or machine made, a Persian, Oriental, Turkish, Silk or priceless antique, we'll treat your rug with the same care we would our own. Green Magic Carpet Cleaning Experts offers professional quality results at great prices.
Remove outdoor shoes before you come in the house. Bare-foot or sock-foot traffic is gentler to a rug than a hard outdoor shoe sole or spike heel. Leaving your outdoor shoes at the entrance to the house also tracks in less dirt.
Rotate your area rugs/Oriental rugs once per year, so each one gets an equal amount of traffic and wears evenly.
If you see a spot or spill (including pet urine), clean it immediately. The problem is much more easily handled if the spot is treated promptly, before the spill is allowed to dry. This is especially true of urine because it can cause the color in your rug to run, and the odor can be very hard to remove. Besides that, urine can also chemically damage the structure of a rug by making the foundation less supple, and it can potentially attract moths. Repeated wettings can cause the foundation of the rug to lose mechanical strength to the point that the rug may crack when rolled or folded. We can help with pet stain removal. Just give us a call. Then, after professionally cleaning your rug and removing the pet urine stain, we can help protect your valuable rug from future accidents with our NEW Maxim™ Advanced Carpet Protector . When the carpet protector is applied, any pet accident or other stain will simply bead up at the surface of your rug instead of immediately being absorbed into the fibers and rug padding.
To clean the spot or spill:
If a pet regurgitates or defecates on your rug, clean it immediately by picking up as much material as possible with paper towels or with a clean, white cloth. If necessary, use a tablespoon to gently scrape up as much of it as you can. Then, follow the instructions above for cleaning the stain. With any stain, you shouldn't scrub it too hard. It could cause the stain to spread and damage the rug fibers.
Get area rug deep cleaned regularly--every one to two years, depending on your rug manufacturer's recommendation. Green Magic will be happy to schedule a time to clean your rugs at your location or arrange a convenient pick-up time for us to pick up your rugs, so we can clean them at our location. If there are any stains you need to have removed, let us know. We can handle just about any stain, including pet urine stains.
Immediately after performing the high quality deep cleaning on your area rug or Oriental rug, we recommend that you request that we apply our NEW Maxim™ Advanced Carpet Protector. This will help protect your area rug or Oriental rug fibers. Application of our carpet protector will extend the life of your area rug or Oriental rug because it will form an invisible protective shield around your rug fibers to keep dry soil at the surface for easy vacuuming and cause spills and pet accidents to bead up on the surface of your rug fibers. This will give you more time to clean them up before they are absorbed and settle into the padding, ruining your fine rug.
